Famed Ballerina Misty Copeland will be starring on the remake based on the classic ballet “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” by E.T., A.
According to The Hollywood Reporter,
“The live-action remake will hit theaters on Nov. 2, 2018, the studio announced during its D23 Expo. The holiday film takes over the previously announced release date of the live-action Mulan remake. It will open opposite Fox’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix and an unnamed Paramount film.
Interstellar actress Mackenzie Foy stars as Clara, while Misty Copeland plays the lead ballerina. Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren and Matthew Macfadyen are also among the cast.”
