You like to dance because:
Dance is a way to express myself. If I’ve had a hard day, it allows me to be loose and let go of the day.
What is your favorite thing about dance:
I love the music. You can dance to “Anything”. I also have made really close friendships with my dance sisters that I appreciate. I also love that there are so many styles of dance. I train in Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz and Majorette. Each style of dance highlights a different side of my personality. Ballet brings discipline and technique, it makes me feel regal. Contemporary makes me feel fierce. Hip Hop makes me feel intense. Jazz and Majorette make me feel sassy. These are all different parts of me that I love.
What was your most favorite dance performance:
My favorite dance memory happened just recently. My majorette team competed at the Dancing Dolls Buck or Die Competition. I participated in the Captain’s Battle and won. It was a really intense experience for me and I found the confidence to pull it through.

They are all teachers that have influenced me greatly. My goal is to be a well rounded dancer and performer and each of them offer me a new a fresh perspective to dance.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A professional dancer!!!!!! Once I finish dancing, I am really interested in science and am thinking about being a veterinarian.
What would you tell girls your age?
Always give 100% when your at the studio and practicing at home. Focus, Have Fun. Our slogan at Inferno is… “Don’t wish for it, work for it”.
